Theatre production Workshop
Come and be part of an ensemble and work with your creativity, while diving into the world of theatre!
This is a theatrical performance workshop designed for those with some foundational experience in theatre who are keen to take part in staging a play.
Through practical exercises, text analysis, character development, improvisation techniques, and
scene-building work based on approaches like Viewpoints and devising processes, students will
actively contribute as co-creators of the production.
The classes emphasize ensemble building, physical expression, vocal exploration, and scene creation centered around a theatrical text introduced at the beginning of the course and developed throughout its duration.
Participants are expected to dedicate some time outside of class for character study and memorizing lines.
What You’ll Gain
Throughout the course, participants will develop key skills such as public speaking, voice modulation, body expression, and emotional connection—all vital for any theatrical performer. Through this journey, students will not only grow as artists but also enhance their confidence, communication abilities, and creative thinking.
Workshop Structure
Stage 1: Creating the ensemble
Theatrical games, body expression, voice techniques, improvisation and dramatized readings.
Stage 2: Diving into dramaturgy
Scene and character studies, work on text and collective creation.
Stage 3: Rehearsals and performance
Setting up scenes, creating characters, and rehearsing the play.
Final presentation.
